New Rural House, Berkshire

Ben Reed Architects were instructed by the private owners of this site to deliver a large new build house in open countryside near Reading in Berkshire, replacing an existing dilapidated building.

 

The contemporary design responds to the surrounding landscape, framing views with large picture windows, providing screening from the sun and wind where necessary and providing a constant connection with nature.

 

The team produced a comprehensive pack of technical working drawings, meticulously scrutinising the detail throughout to ensure the best value for money was achieved, reducing risks during construction and ensuring the clients would receive the best quality home.
