Marshall Street, London

Located in the heart of Soho, this project transforms an existing building into a contemporary skin clinic through a full refurbishment and rooftop extension. In a dense central London context, additional floor space was achieved by building upwards, creating a striking new addition that responds to the vibrant character of Soho.
The new rooftop floor draws inspiration from local architectural forms, reinterpreted in a dynamic, contemporary language. Rectilinear dormers reference traditional roof extensions, while rich corten steel clads the new facades, its warm texture complementing the surrounding materials. A perforated pattern, inspired by the iconic Liberty North Star design of the 1920s, adds depth and visual interest. The bold, geometric arrangement of triangles turns the extension into a distinctive architectural statement, celebrating Soho’s eclectic energy while enhancing the building’s commercial and functional performance
